About Diane

Diane Rogers’ artwork has been highly acclaimed across the nation. With her extensive experience in artwork for high-end restaurants, residential complexes, top-tier hotels, and shopping plazas, Diane Carol Rogers’ reputation as an outstanding artist continues to grow. Her ability to create art that captures and expands a vision earns her rave reviews from her extensive list of clients.  Diane’s versatility shows in the spectrum of original design and scenic artwork she’s created, from Trompe L’Oiel to large-scale murals, restorative artwork, to her original pieces of art.

Diane graduated from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design with a Bachelor’s in Art. Diane began her career as a scenic artist in Milwaukee and Chicago. She worked for various theaters such as Sky Light Opera, Steppenwolf Theatre, Beaujeste Theatre, and the Cincinnati Ballet.  Diane worked with Conrad Schmidt on the restoration of the ceiling in the Boston Colonial Theater. She also worked with United Artists on the movie set of “Hoodlums”.

Diane’s next chapter began in 1997 when she moved to Phoenix and began working with PF Chang’s. Diane spent 5 years painting artwork and decorative finishes to 50 of their nationwide locations. Beginning in 2003, Diane continued her career working with high-end restaurants and hotels. Her work can be seen in Mastro’s, Mission at Kierland, Sullivan’s Steak House, Del Frisco’s, Royal Palms, Sanctuary Camelback Resort, and the Montelucia Resort.

Throughout her years of working with restaurants and hotels, Diane continued designing custom decorative art for residential clients, working alongside the award-winning interior design firm, IMI Design. Diane’s custom art has been most recently featured in Sophisticated Living, Phoenix. This article features the Herberger’s Residence, where Diane created all the extraordinary custom finishes and the hand-painted ceiling in their dining room that emulates the Hearst Castle.

Today Diane continues to pursue her artistic goals, by sharing art in the community with interactive art installations. Her most recent installation can be seen at Scottsdale’s Fashion Square Mall. Diane hopes that her art in the community will continue to grow and inspire others.
